Introduction

INTRODUCTION
The explanatory remarks in this section apply only to Coal Focus and other individuals.

WELCOME These studies have been written to assist those who may be employed in the coal mining industry. Now with a glut of natural gas, government and environmental regulations, tariff and the continuing debate on global warming, all which has forced the shutdown of power plants, and the dismantling of coke ovens as well, all resulting in the negative use of coal. For those following these studies they will understand the importance of coal processing. And for those who may want to pursue other processing or material handling means , these studies will be most helpful.

COAL FOCUS  welcomes you to these studies. It will mean giving some of you time, but we believe you will find it interesting and worth the effort. These studies are a composite from engineers and technicians both alike. It is our aim to help you do your job as well as the best experience can suggest, bringing the satisfaction of knowing more and about how the coal processing plant operates and how it can best give good value for your efforts.

ABOUT THIS COURSE 

For the most part, these lessons forward give the simple theory behind various coal coal washing processes and describes the type of plant in which these theories are put into service.

It is important to know some of these processes are out dated, but equipment basically remains the same, and finally,  these lessons are directed toward entry level and  mid management individuals, who wish to further their carrier in coal preparation.

It is recommended while studying a lesson, it would be most helpful, for future reference to make a folder, or binder for  content review.
